Obama says, " Hold On Sweetie "

Watching Obama tour the Auto plants in Michigan & address a reporter "sweetie". Then, fail to talk to the predominantly
" White working Class" employees of Chrysler who were all looking on,  what a way to win voters.

Is this his way of winning women voters & working class whites?

He also Never addressed their issue. (If this was Bill or Hillary, they would have approached these "bitter workers", shook their hands, listened to their concerns,  & gave them some comforting words & reassurance.

Good Luck Sweetie, You are going to need it. You better shape up.
There will be no more 93% Black voters who can carry a state in a general election for you. No more delegate splits in the Winner Take All GE. No more disproportionate allocation of delegates to urban areas with large African-American residents.

This is now, One on One with a War Hero.

No more North Dakota, No more South Dakota,  No more Wyoming, No more Georgia, No more South Carolina, No more Alabama, No more Mississippi. - ALL RED in November !!!

.

Bless your heart. Good to know that ya'll would have defended me when I used the term "darlin" and was accused of being a mysogynist. Good to know. Because I didn't mean it in a sexist way. Nope. I basically mean it in a insult way. Like saying, "Bless your heart.", it is a non gender specific, passive aggresive insult.
Nothing sexist about it.

I've been known to use it to the dog.
After he pooped on the rug.

So. You say that the world will be fine if I just say I didn't mean it in a sexist way. As a general insult it's okay to say. Because the person in question was only concerned with the sexist issue. When I clarified by saying they had been insulted but without sexist over tones that seemed to be the end of it.

Thanks. Good to know.

Good to know ya'll are trying to lighten up. I don't see it else where but, bless your hearts, there is hope. :D

There are 23 states that (none / 0)

have Democratic legislatures.  The Constitution allows states to use whatever process they choose to allocate their electoral votes.  Perhaps we can prevail on the Democratic legislatures to hold caucuses in November to decide the winner in the state.  Just to give the poor sap voters a sense of the meaningfulness of their participation, we also could hold beauty contests where people actually get to cast a (meaningless) ballot.

I can guarantee you their relationship is 50/50 if not biased to michelle.

And shit, the SAME THING could be said about Bill and his choice for wife.

Now John McCain?

He gets home and cheats are right away with a millionaire heiress.

He divorces his wife and 3 kids and marries the million-dollar woman and immediatly gets into politics.

Re: Obama says, " Hold On Sweetie " (2.00 / 2)

This diary is so disengenuous.

Dislike Obama all you want, but he apoligized and apoligized a lot for the comment.

Hi Peggy. This is Barack Obama. I'm calling to apologize on two fronts. One was you didn't get your question answered and I apologize. I thought that we had set up interviews with all the local stations. I guess we got it with your station but you weren't the reporter that got the interview. And so, I broke my word. I apologize for that and I will make up for it.

Second apology is for using the word 'sweetie.' That's a bad habit of mine. I do it sometimes with all kinds of people. I mean no disrespect and so I am duly chastened on that front. Feel free to call me back. I expect that my press team will be happy to try to make it up to you whenever we are in Detroit next.

Can we be done with gloating over misspeaks yet?

And I bet some blue states will vote for McCain too, I will vote for McCain, my family, friends, relatives and so on.
